Based on Decree No. 7660 of the President of Turkmenistan dated December 15. 2005. Further based on orders of the State Concern “Turkmengas” No. 85 dated December 20. 2005 and No. 09 dated January 6. 2006. The “Turkmengassupply” association of the State Concern “Turkmengas” is an independent entity with rights of a legal entity was established based on the association “Turkmengassupply” of the previously abolished State Trade Corporation “Turkmenneftegaz”. The association exercises control over the provision of uninterrupted, trouble-free gas supply to industrial, public utility enterprises and the population with in Turkmenistan, the construction of gas pipelines and structures in cities, towns and rural areas, as well as the trouble-free operation of gas supply s ystems, accounting for gas consumption. In accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan “On Hydrocarbon Gas Supply”, the association provides services to ensure uninterrupted supply of natural and liquefied gas to the population and all enterprises, regardless of ownership, with the introduction of the latest achievements of science and technology, progressive types and forms of exploitation of the gas sector. At the same time, and for the purpose of accident-free gas supply, the “Turkmengassupply” association provides services for the maintenance and repair of gas equipment, gas networks and other services to the population and enterprises, as well as services for the installation of gas meters, their prevention and dismantling.

The process of supplying gas to consumers is a continuous process, independent of the time of day or day of the week, due to which constant monitoring of its progress is assigned to a special operational gas service (emergency – dispatch service), which is an emergency service, the main responsibilities of which are:
-Immediate elimination of gas-related events occurring on various gas pipelines and their structures, in residential buildings, institutions and enterprises;
-Maintaining a given gas pressure regime in gas networks;
-24-hour reception of applications from the population, enterprises and organizations to eliminate gas events.
